With all proceeds earmarked for donation to the Brooklyn Community Bail Fund, the Physical Thereapy-helmed Allergy Season imprint and Brooklyn-based Discwoman collective have teamed up for a new charity compilation. Spread over 44-tracks, Fatima Al Qadiri Tzusing, Ciel, M.E.S.H., Giant Swan and Matrixxman feature on the mammoth release that offers everything from tense ambient atmospheres to bleepy IDM, monolithic techno and PC Music-esque, scatter-gun rhythms.

Curated by Physical Therapy and Discwoman’s Umfang and Frankie Decaiza Hutchinson, the ‘name your price’ compilation picks up where last year’s volume left off. While its predecessor raised funds for ACLU, Callen-Lorde, The National Immigration Law Center, and Planned Parenthood, Physically Sick 2 will seek to support New Yorkers struggling to meet bail.

“If a person can’t pay their bail, they must wait in jail until their court date,” the press release says. “Months may go by, even years, simply because someone—who has yet to be convicted of any crime—couldn’t come up a few hundred dollars. It is a racist, backwards design that disproportionately punishes people of color and the poor. Our goal is to draw attention to this pernicious cycle, and raise actual bail money for as many people as possible.”
