Chopped ‘n’ screwed disco, ambient techno, a Wham! cover and much more…

Joan Bibiloni – Sa Fosca (Unofficial In Flagranti Remix)

Having featured on the label’s excellent Joan Bibiloni retrospective, fans of Music From Memory will probably be familiar with the original. Here we find Swiss weirdo disco duo In Flagranti on remix duties, turing Bibiloni’s undulating slice of ambient boogie fusion into a sweeping disco number.

Secousse – The Looney Tunes vol. 1

In what might be our favourite free download of 2016, Secousse‘s own DJ Tron (formerly of Radioclit) is giving away a bunch of chopped ‘n’ screwed disco jams. Bottom heavy grooves from beginning to end, but our pick of the bunch would be Tron’s screwed reinterpretation of ‘Watch The Closing Doors’ by Harlem’s own Interboro Rhythm Team.

Stephen Head And Aldo Tamborrelli – Gipsy Queen (Flemming Dalum Remix)

Italo aficionado Flemming Dalum gives a nod to Bordello A Parigi following a reissue of the OST from Antoni Margheriti’s little known Vietnam movie, Tornado. Originally composed by Stephen Head and Aldo Tamborrelli, Dalum beefs up and sharpens the beats for the adventurous DJs among us.

Entro Senestre – Lets Make Things Great Again

Incredibly emotive stuff from BANK Records NYC head honcho, Entro Senestre. Best known for rolling out fast and frenetic electro and immersive house and techno on labels like Dekmantel and Willie Burns’ W.T. Records, this shows off a far more tender side to the Brooklyn-based producer.

DJ Bong Gozling – 4 Tracks

Hot on the heels of his killer Natural Sciences 12″, Anarchy In The House Sagesse, Dublin’s DJ Bong Gozling is getting into the giving spirit with not 1, 2 or 3, but 4 tracks available for a free download. Lo-fi heads take notice…

WHAM! – Last Christmas (TX Connect’s Instrumental)

Last, but by no means least, we had to include a Christmas-themed freebie. How about Texan hardware enthusiast Gavin Guthrie AKA TX Connect putting his own spin on a George Michael classic? Enjoy!
