Chugging acid jams, IDM-influenced UK electro, a Belgian synth-pop edit and much more…

Discodromo – Island Memories (Acid Re-Rub)

CockTail d’Amore masterminds Discodromo celebrate reaching 10,000 likes on Facebook with a free download, rewarding fans for their loyalty with the 303-tinged version of a track they released on Rollerboy Recordings back in 2013.

B12 – For They Use You

Now going solo under the B12 banner, co-founder Steve Rutter plugs straight into the cerebral cortex with a free download via B12 Records sub-label, FireScope Music. Horizontal, IDM-inspired electro with a distinctly UK flavour from one of nation’s finest electronic exports.

S. Channel – Costa Croisiere (Tim Karbon Remix)

Third Try Records continue to promote S. Channel’s Never Ending Stories EP, offering up a Tim Karbon reinterpretation of the track we premiered last month. The Paris-based producer does a good job too, introducing a swinging groove, lush keys and truncated chord stabs so overdriven they’re close to unidentifiable.

Telex – I Don’t Like Music (MAN2.0 Upgrade)

Bizarro, synth-driven disco reinterpreted by MAN2.0 and served up as the latest instalment in the Night Noise edit series. The UK-based producer strips out the main vocal and syrupy groove in favour of something with added dancefloor propulsion.

Space Afrika – g l o o m

Synth lines emerge like a wisps of smoke or light trails from passing cars as they speed off into the night on this freebie from Manchester duo, Space Afrika. Beautiful and haunting in equal measure.
