The Washington D.C. label have compiled special digital compilation from their back catalogue.

Seven years since its inception and Future Times is still going strong. Maybe stronger than ever, with a recent triple release featuring the likes of Juju & Jordash, Steve Summers and Shanti Celeste receiving plenty of praise. Now boasting over thirty releases, label owners Maxmillion Dunbar and Mondo have compiled an assortment of tracks from the Future Times catalogue, available as a ‘name your price’ download.

It’s “a must for the uninitiated”, but also for diehard fans. With a few of the tracks previously only available on vinyl, this will be fantastic news for anyone after the lauded Huerco S. cut, ‘Apheleia’s Theme’ (taken from a rare 12″ that fetches a fair bit on Discogs).

Other choice selections include two killer bits of drum-heavy techno from Dunbar’s Dolo Percussion alias and Mood Hut misfit Jack J’s summertime jam, ‘Thirstin”, but don’t wait until later to download this one. According to the Bandcamp blurb the compilation’s only available “while it lasts”, whatever that means.
