Everyone’s seen, or knows of, Alien. Alien itself has become a symbol of something above and beyond the film; an icon of unearthly, Gothic horror. It’s one of those untouchable pinnacles of science fiction in cinema, like Blade Runner. So it’s no surprise that Ridley Scott’s return to the sci-fi arena, and to the Alien universe, has got everyone buzzing, it also helps that the trailers are beyond fucking cool (Yes, that is Stringer Bell piloting a spaceship). It appears Scott is taking sci-fi back to its roots (I can’t help but think of other Prometheans of the sci-fi world that have fallen for the Sirens of CGI over plot – Lucas, we’ll never forgive you) quite literally in this one, as the story appears to focus on the genesis of all life on earth, with a lot of mystery surrounding an enigmatic feller at the start of the second trailer. So we thought, lets interview him…
