While the masses engage in a bit of Stinson-mania over that much-needed The Other People Place repress, another sought-after 12″ is being prepped for reissue. In a joint effort from the Dublin-based Major Problems and Compassion Cuts imprints, Ability II’s bleep gem, Pressure, arrives on the shelves later this month. It may not inspire the same ridiculous hype as Lifestyles Of The Laptop Café, but with the OG press fetching anything up to £100 on Discogs, we don’t expect this one to stick around for long.

It won’t be the first time these labels dip their toes in the reissue waters, having collaborated on the last year’s excellent Compassion Cuts, Tapes & Acetates compilation. Fully restored and remastered, both the floaty original and the flawless dub version feature, complete with a killer remix as Luca Lozano deploys rolling breakbeats in typically impressive fashion. Well known for his work as a designer, Lozano provides the artwork, with an A4 info sheet telling the story of the record also included.

Pressure is out February 23rd on Major Problems – pre-order the vinyl here.
