Italian artist Black Seed, aka Matteo Viani, has been asked to deliver the up-and-coming fourth release for Sign Bit Zero, a relatively new record label which put out its inaugural plate of Ale Mania edits by Mick Wills back in early 2016. Helmed by Kilian Krings, the imprint has delivered three 12″s thus far, all of which flirt with industrial, EBM and synthwave music; it’s safe to say that the latest batch of tracks from Black Seed certainly keeps in sync with this aesthetic tradition.

With its piston-pumping, hedonistic rhythmic pulse that provides the track’s main focal point musically, ‘Vaporize’ goes on to really utilise its pummelling bass-laden throb to the fullest. Listeners are treated to a substantial amount of distant transmission-like hiss, which embellishes Black Seed’s intended guttural vibe enormously. This one is certain to sound maximally fleshed-out on a proper system, so be sure to get acquainted in advance.

SBZ004 is out soon on Sign Bit Zero.
