Kick-started in 2001, Zurich-based label Relish Recordings have proved themselves to be one of most intriguing outfits Switzerland has produced to date. Gracing us with its presence at the tail end of 2015 is the fourth compilation from the imprint, overseen by Robi Insinna, the label’s founder; featuring tracks from the likes of Daniel Avery, Red Axes and Scott Fraser, this particular collection looks like it’s shaping up to be one of the strongest yet.

We have the distinct pleasure of premiering a new track from this very compilation, courtesy of Robi Insinna himself under the highly renowned Headman moniker. Titled ‘Main Gates’, it’s a carefully constructed, mechanised affair which feels meticulous in its execution, yet all the while remains infinitely playful. Infectious drums are present throughout, and swirling synths seem to leap from one end to the other, giving it an eloquent appeal which is more than enough to whet our appetite for the rest of the collection.

Relish Compilation IV is out on December 4th. Digital can be purchased here with a limited run of CDs available to pre-order from Rough Trade (UK) and Colette (FR).
