Due to be released at the end of the month, Outer Time Inner Space boss Hubert Clarke Jr is back on the label with his brand new 12″. A fine and fitting title, Floating on A Trippy Biscuit sees the Sydney-based producer give a blissed-out journey around rave culture in four dreamy tracks.

A natural continuation from the label’s debut – a record Clarke Jr. worked on with Sean Thomas – the main reference points suggest an unwavering fascination with ’90s dance music. The title track in particular begs to be played at sunrise. Infused with nods to early jungle, a Morse code homage to UK broken beat, chopped-up dub echoes and breaks, even some flute thrown in there for good measure, it leads you on an excursion to a shady beach somewhere beautiful, one where you’re ‘Floating on a Trippy Biscuit’.

Floating On A Trippy Biscuit is out May 1st on Outer Time Inner Space – pre-order direct from the label.
