ADE saw the trio visit the Rush Hour store to promote Musik For Autobahns 2.
For the uninitiated, ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event) is a five day convention and festival that sees the electronic music industry descend on Amsterdam for a week of parties, pop-ups, workshops and lectures. It’s a real mixed bag, with most genres represented and no discrimination between the mainstream and the underground, but high-quality programming is there to be found in amongst the chaff. Now that the dust has settled, we can take a moment to look back and appreciate the gargantuan event’s finer moments.
It’s hardly surprising that some of them came from one of Amsterdam’s more reputable institutions. Rush Hour hosted a mouthwatering series of instores over the weekend (with the likes of Ron Trent, Little Louie Vega and Ben UFO making appearances) and the final session is now available to stream in full.
With Gerd Janson, Suzanne Kraft and Orlando Voorn all featuring on Rush Hour’s Musik For Autobahns 2, the Dutch label invited the trio down to the shop for an instore session to promote the compilation. Featuring a potent b2b from Kraft and Janson and Orlando Voorn “mixing faster than his own shadow”, this is certainly worth a watch.
