Extra Muros, the subsidiary to print publication and record label FLEE, has announced a new artist residency programme in Apulia, Italy.
Following a successful first edition in Kenya, which culminated in this compilation, FLEE‘s annual Extra Muros series will bring six artists together for a two-week course centred around collaboration and “hybrid compositions”.
Hosted within the medieval Norman-Hohenstaufen Castle of Sannicandro di Bari, the creative residency will encourage the chosen participants to immerse themselves in Apulia’s rich heritage. Alongside studio sessions, an extended programme encompassing talks, showcases, meetings and visits will invite the artist and affiliate partners – Ableton, Varia Instruments, SMEM or Oto Machines have pledged their support – to contribute further.
Applications are open from today to September 20th, with the programme running from October 7th through to the 18th. You can apply here.
