BEARCAT – CHARGED UP – SANDY SPEAKS
Back in 2015, BEARCAT paid at tribute to Sandra Bland, a 28-year-old African American activist who tragically died in police custody.
Giving the instrumental from Drake’s ‘Charged Up’ the edit treatment and sampling Bland’s voice over it has made for a profoundly sombre and sobering listen. 5 years old, and upsettingly, just as relevant today.
