A weekly rundown of mixes and radio shows we’ve been enjoying…
Dallas’ Textasy charging through 2 raucous hours of ghetto house, booty electro, acid, juke and everything in between.
“45 minutes of strange/avant downer musick, (un)suitably dour and windswept throughout. Stuffed full of atmosphere and malice, reversing through England and out into darkened recesses of Europe and beyond. Dirty ambient; Baudelaire; transmissions from the ambulance station; psilocybin rock; pastoral malaise; gallows hymns from an agoraphobic London commune; industrial folk for industrial folk; oppressive summers. All riddled with melancholia and melodrama. Not suitable for optimists.”
Front Left Life hosting a feel-good transmission clinging dearly on to the last moments of summer (it’s only truly Autumn when the sun stops shining, innit), recorded by Grade 10 representative Loosewomen.
