On Saturday February 25th Vienna’s Neubau label will descend on London-based store LN-CC, The Basement 18-24 Shacklewell Lane, Dalston, London, E8 2EZ.

An avant-garde retailer and conceptual space, the venue also known as the Late Night Chameleon Cafe is set to host a party billed as “One for the freaks.” Joining them on the evening are three members of Neubau’s inner circle, with co-founders Heap and Simon Heidemann spinning some records and Berlin’s Aufgang B – the Berlin-based duo responsible for inaugurating the label back in December 2015 – set to play live. A cavernous spot with individual product rooms, a library, record store and gallery, LN-CC’s in-house club space (fully equipped with a “state of the art sound system”) will stay open until 3 AM.

Committed to the brutalist timbres of industrial music, Neubau productions have distilled moods and textures of early experimental electronic music through contemporary techno and acid filters. Alongside excellent releases from Aufgang B, Karamika and Leo James respectively, the reputation of label owners Heap and Heidemann as selectors seem to grow with every mix, setting up what’s bound to be a memorable night at one of London’s more intriguing retailers.

Heap, Simon Heidemann and Aufgang B play LN-CC on Saturday February 25th – buy tickets here.
