The man with the cheekbones is back with his latest endeavour: a record label, aptly named Madteo Records. It’s been a relatively quiet couple of years for the New York resident, but his fragmented, unsteady strains of house and techno rarely fail to mesmerise, and news of a Madteo record label will be music to many an ear (pun not intended).
Arriving at record stores by way Aaron Siegel‘s FIT Distribution, a debut release may be some way off with a label sticker the only shred of evidence that this is actually happening. Bearing the motto “MADNESS AND DESTRUCTION TERRORIZING EVERY ONE”, you can only begin imagine the sort of foreboding moments a Madteo-run label would provide.
We honestly can’t remember the last time we anticipated the launch of a label so eagerly without hearing any music.
