Travel to a spiritual dimension with Terekke.

Often bordering on the bizarre, Rush Hour’s oddball sub-label has always been rather unconventional in its approach and ethos, although there’s never really been a discernibly consistent identity running through the back catalogue. With releases that take on a wide range of influences, No ‘Label’ is no stranger to putting out tracks that reference things from jazz-funk and broken beat to the unpolished, basement sound of Chicago house. Their next limited 12” release definitely owes a lot to the latter as Terekke serves up a new EP featuring a certain track that’s been doing the rounds.

Entitled ‘Track A2’, the latest bit of brilliance from the Berlin resident will feature on a four track record that follows an equally impressive release on Ron Morelli’s L.I.E.S. imprint. Wrapping placid synth textures and muted organ licks around a thundering kick drum, Terekke’s heady house construction has been waiting in the wings for far too long. With very little information to go on, all we know for sure is that this is finally on the way and that’s excellent news for anyone that likes their house sun-bleached and dusty.

Lessons From A Spiritual Dimension is set for a limited 12” release in the coming months. In the meantime you can enjoy both A-side tracks below.
