Type ‘global skywatch’ into Google and most of the links relate to a website raising awareness about geoengineering and the dangers of chemtrails. It’s a just cause, one also adopted by Antipodean duo Mic Mills and Furious Frank, who went as far as to launch a label of the same name.
Sporting a groove that’s absolute nails, the sophomore release comes fitted out with a track serving up enough kinetic energy to power Greater Melbourne on clean renewable energy for at least a month. It’s somewhat ironic that the title references movies best known for souped-up, petrol-guzzling cars, but Furious Frank’s 303-riddled electro has us dreaming of a future without fossil fuels.
GSW002 is out July 29th on Global Skywatch – pre-order here.
