Wasting little time between far-out releases, Melbourne audio nomads A Colourful Storm announce a new split 12” of “proper tech” bearing a reissued piece of UK electronic gold circa 2002 and a fresh cut from label alum Klon Dump.

Returning to the label after 2017’s Klon Dump Versus The Open Air, said producer slaps back with an iced out B-side cut of deep tech for the coming cold times. It’s knockin’, bubbly and clangy, like a NASA-grade tin can of data marbles shot into the other end of the Milky Way galaxy by way of a high-powered space cannon. ‘Do The Dump’ exists in the same brooding yet spastic sci-fi workout realm where the likes of Wiggle, Yoshitoshi Recordings and UR material set up base. Picture that scene from A Space Odyssey: 2001, but with more BBC Radio 1 stingers and sub-bass action, and you’ve just about got it.

Ahead Of Us / Do The Dump is out November 4th on A Colourful Storm – pre-order here.
