Kalahari Oyster Cult is back on the platt with a rich biosphere of planetary building blocks, courtesy of A Psychic Yes, AKA Timothy Crombie. For their sophomore outing, the release finds Berlin-based producer Crombie exploring the microscopic genesis of esoteric environs and incubatory sonics.
Crombie gives us a delicate decree of world building with ‘Forest Floor’. In this process of creation, the developing plains of padded electronics populate the nascent scape. Beginning with a twisted dose of Aphex-esque tribalism, the track slithers with sanguine agility, slowly evolving into an ecosystem of organic intelligence. The result is a lush cut of introspective, anatomical IDM.
Maze Dream is out September 15th on Kalahari Oyster Cult – pre-order here.
