Out soon on Kiev-based label, Muscut, warbled rhythms, psychedelic nuances and shamanistic ephemera dominate the intriguing A3 cut from Eugenii Fadeev’s debut Wrong Water release. Having previously released music as AEM Rhythm Cascade for 12th Isle – one of our favourite imprints of recent years – and also for the Moscow outfit Gost Zvuk, 13-track album Dozen sees this unique producer utilise a vast array of analog gear to wormhole past sounds conveniently into the present day.

Surrealistic and relatively downtempo, ‘Inlander’ serves up an abundance of obscure and enthralling noises in equal measure. The stomach-churning synth foundation chugging along at an appropriate pace, charmingly extraterrestrial tones gradually come into frame, adorning the truly bizarro soundscape to its fullest.

Dozen is out May 25th on Muscut – pre-order direct from the label.
